In-sonora VIII

Last spring was the eighth edition of Art Festival sound was celebrated with live events, workshops and exhibitions at the Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Istituto Europeo di Design Madrid, Off Limits, Twin Gallery, CentroCentro, Medialab Prado Crossing.

My work Eadem mutata resurgo was part of the exhibition held at IED Madrid between March 21 and April 16 with the wondrous works like Somewhere in Time by Lars Lundehave , Esquizofonías by Ulisses Carvalho ,Traslacción # 2 by Marcos Calvario, Soundart2012 by Osvaldo Cibils and Sudaca Warscape by Vlax.

La pasada primavera se celebró la VIII edición del festival de arte sonoro In-sonora con  eventos en directo, talleres y exposiciones en el Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, el Istituto Europeo di Design Madrid, Off Limits, Twin Gallery, CENTROCENTRO, Medialab Prado y Cruce. 

Mi trabajo Eadem mutata resurgo formó parte de la exposición que tuvo lugar en el IED Madrid entre el 21 de Marzo y el 16 de Abril junto a los maravillosos trabajos de Lars Lundehave con Somewhere in time, Ulisses Carvalho con Esquizofonías, Marcos Calvario con Traslacción #2, Osvaldo Cibils con Soundart2012 y Vlax con Sudaca Warscape.

Wege ums Kino

In November 20, 2013 I was part of Wege ums Kino exhibition with Walking around.
Organized by the Cultural Office of the Spanish Embassy in Berlin, the Gat Rooms hotels and curated by Cristina Navarro, the exhibition was based on the following proposal (although you can see the full text in Spanish or German in the website): 

The artistic reflections in Wegen ums Kino pose a dialogue between film and art, between stage and scenery, between spectator and visitor. Throughout its eight thematic modules the exhibition is becoming a movie to go across in which certain aspects of our perception and currently audiovisual are narrated.

The exhibition took place inside the hotel Gat Point Charlie, which enhanced the filmic nature of the showing, far away from the concept of the white cube. Walking the corridors of the hotel or cross curtains in dark rooms, lit only by the works themselves reinforced the impression of being in a Kubrick or Lynch film.

The artist we were participated by modules: 

Miguel Ángel Ortega on Appropriations; Elena García Jiménez, Joanic and I in The Time Machine; Inés Aparicio in Desire; Sergio Roger and Fernando Ansorena in Soundtrack  Cabinet; a VideoScreening with different artists in E / Motions; Pablo Marte in Editing; Cristina Busto in V.O. and Luis Bezeta in the Hall of Mirrors.

, en la que participé con Walking around.

, la cadena de hoteles 

Gat Rooms

 y, comisariada por Cristina Navarro, la exposición partía de la siguiente propuesta, (aunque podeis ver el texto completo en español y Alemán en la

):

Las reflexiones artísticas de Recorridos por el cine plantean un diálogo entre cine y arte, entre escena y escenografía, entre espectador y visitante. A lo largo de sus ocho módulos temáticos la exposición va convirtiéndose en una película a recorrer en la que se narran ciertos aspectos sobre nuestra percepción y nuestra actualidad audiovisual.

La exposición tuvo lugar dentro del hotel Gat Point Charlie, lo que potenciaba el carácter fílmico de la muestra, bastante alejado del concepto de cubo blanco. Recorrer los pasillos del hotel o cruzar cortinas para entrar en habitaciones oscuras, alumbradas solo por las propias obras reforzaba la impresión de estar en una pelicula de Kubrick o Lynch.

Los artista que participamos por módulos éramos:

Miguel Ángel Ortega en Créditos; Elena García Jiménez, Joanic y yo en La Máquina del Tiempo; Inés Aparicio en Deseo; Sergio Roger y Fernando Ansorena en Soundtrack Cabinet; un Videoscreening con distintos artistas en E/Mociones; Pablo Marte en Montaje;Cristina Busto en V.O. y  Luis Bezeta en La Sala de Espejos.

 Walking around

My work Walking around is based on a video recording around the exhibition space, in which the original audio is maintained but the images era replaced by animations where some elements of the video images recorded were isolated. The exhibition presented the final animation along with the frames.

Mi trabajo Walking around parte de una grabación en video alrededor del espacio expositivo, en la que se mantiene el audio original pero las imágenes son sustituidas por animaciones donde se aislan algunos elementos de las imágenes del video grabado. En la exposición se presentaba la animación final junto con los frames.

Instalación realizada para Dreiecke en la exposición internacional de arte organizada por Neukoellnimport en la Kunsthaus Tachelles, Berlín, partiendo de la propuesta de la exposición: "Fronteras".

Installation for Dreiecke in the International art exhibition organized by Neukoellnimport in the Kunsthaus Tachelles in Berlin.

Based on the proposal for the exhibition "Borders".
